Modelling is what makes me happy :-) I've been going at it since I knew what it was to "be a girl and wear a dress". Even though I grew up a tomboy, that quickly changed when I learned poise, grace and well... Fashion. Deep down I still like to be real and get my hands dirty too. I spend most of my time outdoors hiking or frolicking and enjoying all the beautiful things in life. Traveling allows me to do this as well as exploring many different cultures and aspects of myself! ?I'm in NYC at the moment working for Roberto Cavalli, and just days ago, shot a music video for The Voice's very own Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5, "Moves like Jagger". I actually had to wear a wig and dance like Mick Jagger at the LA theatre downtown for 15 hours! Yikes. Laugh it up... that’s life. Mine just happens to be amazing!
My work experience includes TV Shows such as Project Runway - Season 7, Models of the Runway - Season 2and Launch my Line - Season 1; and runways for Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Macy’s, Saks, NY Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week.?I also work on commercials, music videos, pilots, and am involved in several charities. I find it very rewarding and fulfilling to be able to give back in any way possible, since the life of a fashion model can be intense at times…

1) How and when did you know you wanted to become a model?
When I was a young girl I remember I was in dance class and overheard a student’s mom speaking about me, and how I should be a model. The seed was planted…

2) Where were you discovered?
First discovered in Chicago but not really with a big agency, till I moved to NYC when I was 15 years old.

3) What do you like most about being a model?
Travelling and seeing the world. Meeting new people everyday, and being creative.

4) What has been the greatest experience you have had so far?
It's so hard to pick just one good experience modelling. I've been pretty blessed to meet and work with some really talented and famous people. For example, I worked with tennis player Maria Sharapova on a Motorola commercial (I was her body double); just shot a music video with Christina Aguilera and Maroon5. Opened a performance for Beyoncé after walking to her line House of Dereon; and filmed for over a month in NYC for Project Runway and Models of the Runway TV shows... which was a great experience, because not many people get the opportunity in their life to go through something like that.

5) What is your fashion dream?
I would love to have my own skincare line, or become even more of a fashion icon, noticed through acting and/or hosting.

6) What was your favourite city you traveled to work to?
Auckland, NZ, to shoot a campaign for Ashley Fogel.

7) Who is your fashion icon?
Kate Moss, because she has been a standout model for so many years, and even as a mother is still rocking!

8) What are your goals in the next 5 years as a model?
My goal is to become a household name, as well as a role model for young girls who are interested in the business and need someone to look up to.

9) What are your secrets for a fit and healthy body?
Exercise is mandatory, but I believe that the best way to stay looking great, is to eat colourful food (no donuts, broccoli and carrots!) however, moderation is definitely key. Eat what you want, but mix it up and do not over eat! There's a saying I try to live by: "Eat after 8 - gain a lot of weight!" Drink water and get your beauty sleep!

10) What is your favourite part of your body?
My looong legs. I wear heels just to flaunt them.

11) What makes you feel sexy?
I feel the sexiest when I get good sleep, workout, and have a new outfit to put on. But honestly, wearing a smile is always sexy!

12) Is the fashion world what you expected it to be?
The world of fashion is always more than what people expect. It's a very cutthroat industry, and you have to have a backbone of steel to survive. Sometimes glamorous, but mostly that's all the hype. It's work, but it's fun and always changing!

13) What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love being simple. I go for hikes with my best friend, or to a movie, or just for a stroll to get fresh air.  I'm a big fan of cooking and relaxing in a comfortable setting.
